Business Services Available
- 2nd Floor HQ Building Public Hearing Rooms: scheduling conflict resolution; long term room scheduling; webcasting; public announcement postings.
- After-Hours Services: After-hours lighting, heating, and air conditioning.
- Lights: General area and task lighting.
- Modular System Furniture (MSF): minor reconfiguration and ergonomic (workstation and keyboard) adjustments of MSF.
- Keys: building door keys, modular cubicle keys, conventional furniture keys, building door lock problems, cubicle lock problems, install lock, re-key lock, and copy of existing key.
- Moves: Office/Staff moves
- Tenant Improvements: new electric, paint, carpet, new space, construction, installing and removing items to and from walls, major cubicle reconfigurations.
- Wiring: Basic guidance on phone and data wiring location and change options.
- Engineering: Plumbing, heating or air problems that require immediate attention.
- Hazardous conditions remediation: Hazardous spills or fumes detected should be reported immediately to 9-551-1449.
- Janitorial: If you believe the issue requires immediate attention (e.g., toilet overflow, large spill, etc.).
- Lobby displays: Lobby Display Protocol at the CalEPA Headquarters Building.
- Security: Security is on-site 24 hours per day 9-551-1313

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do if I think there is an air quality problem in the building?
Report it immediately to our Building Management office at 9-551-1449. The quicker it is reported the more likely we can find the source of the problem. Engineering staff will be dispatched upon receiving the complaint and investigate for the type, source, intensity, and duration of the problem. Ventilation adjustments can be made right away to address short term problems (like a smoky microwave or intake of diesel from the street). Chronic problems will be investigated and identified, appropriate corrective actions will be taken.
I have a large meeting planned and I want to get the word out. How do I advertise my meeting as a ticker message on the lobby monitors?
E-mail your request to facilities@calepa.ca.gov. Provide a start and end day and time; and suggested text (include who, what, where and when). The ticker messages must be kept short and to the point. Here are examples:
Example 1: Flu and Pneumonia Vaccinations–November 4th-10:00 to 12:00 (Training Room 1 East)
