CalEPA Fitness Center

In support of the Work Site Health Promotion Program, the CalEPA and its BDOs provide space in the CalEPA Headquarters Building for a Fitness Center where voluntary fitness programs that are organized and managed by employees on their own time can be held. The Fitness Center is a convenient option for employees to maintain a healthy exercise routine and enhances wellness. It is a work site space used only by employees housed in the CalEPA Headquarters Building outside of work hours for individual exercise and organized exercise classes led by fellow volunteer CalEPA Headquarters Building employees. The CalEPA Fitness Center includes a weight room, aerobics room, and men’s and women’s locker room with showers. Employees housed in the CalEPA Headquarters Building are solely responsible for all aspects of the Fitness Center, including providing and maintaining equipment, teaching exercise classes, and conducting and participation in all other activities taking place in the Fitness Center. CalEPA’s Health, Safety, and Wellness Unit is the point of contact for all things related to the CalEPA Fitness Center.
